  2. Hi there,

Un-tested on a Mac I’m afraid. Would you like to be the first to try? :)

  3. well, which is the best folder to place your stuff? step by step please!!

  4. PC users:

Place the J League 2008 folder in the following directory…

    My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\db\

When you start a new game, you should be presented with a list of databases to use.

    Done. :)

  12. handbrand~

i’m still trying to figure out where to put graphic packs~
if i do find out, i’ll leave a reply somewhere

  13. i found out how to use graphic packs for mac! i replied in the kawasaki frontale thread

  14. found this on neoseeker
    http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/36740/t1046298-graphics-faq/

    1. Click Start, and then click My Documents. Open the Sports Interactive folder, and then open the Football Manager 2008 folder.
    *for mac – documents->sports interactive->football manager 2008

    2. Create a new folder called graphics.

    3. Open the graphics folder and create 3 more folders called kits, logos, & players.

    4. Move the graphics pack you want to install into the correct folder (kits into kits folder, logos into logos folder, and face packs into players folder), right click it, and click Extract Here. Once the files have been extracted, you can delete the .rar/.zip file if you want. If you can’t extract the file, download WinRAR.

    5. Load the game, and goto Options » Preferences » Display & Sound. Untick Use Skin Cache and tick Always Reload Skin On Confirm.

    6. Click on Confirm. The game will now start reloading the skin and will will display the new graphics once it’s done.

  15. Thanks for your amazing work!!

    I noticed a problem.

    Case:Japanese Players
    NationalityDisplay [JPN] —> [MAS]

    sorry for my poor English…

  16. Does anyone else have the problem with the information screen now showing up for Japanese clubs?

  17. Hi woop,

Sadly it’s hard coded into the game that the club information screens for Japanese clubs isn’t visible. I believe this is for licensing reasons which is also why I’m lead to believe the Japanese based players arn’t present in the game full stop.

  18. Great work, but how come there’s only 14 teams in J1 when theres 18?

  19. Yo how do i use this i really want to play the japanese league but it says “the application has commited a serious error and has closed” wat do i do? i’ll give u ma msn and tell me wat to do step by step it is Hartford_whaler@hotmail.co.uk

    thanx in advance
